Estes Public RelationsFounder Jamie B. Estes' trademark is relationship marketing. Her long-term relationships with clients gives her the solid understanding and knowledge of their specific needs so she can develop the public relations programs to meet their expectations.

With 20 years experience promoting travel and culinary industries, Jamie has developed a wide network of print and electronic media relationships which plays a large role in getting stories placed in the optimum media.

This talent and contacts were not developed overnight but are the result of an extensive education teamed with real-world experience.

Estes served as vice-president of FSA Public Relations for nearly 10 years where she handled such clients as Kinkead's in Washington DC, the Peabody Hotel in Memphis, TRU in Chicago, the Seelbach Hilton in Louisville, One Walnut in Cleveland, Magnolias in Charleston, S.C., Brown-Forman brand Woodford Reserve, Qdoba Mexican Grill in Denver, the International Association of Culinary Professionals, the American Institute of Wine & Food and the Council of Independent Restaurateurs of America.

These experiences have earned her a reputation as a professional who produces on target and on budget results for a wide array of quality clients.

The Alabama native received her master's degree in communications from the University of Kentucky and her bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of Alabama. At both universities, she worked in promotions for the men's football and basketball teams.

She was an adjunct faculty member of the University of Louisville and University of Kentucky for eight years, teaching organizational communications, public speaking and interviewing skills. She is a frequent speaker on public relations and marketing to industry and community events.

Estes Public Relations has been honored as a recipient of a 2009 Hermes Creative Award. The Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional and emerging media. The competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. EPR was recognized with a Gold Award in the category of Product Launch for their work with Louisville-based company Bluegrass Soy Sauce.

In 2008, Estes was honored by the National Association of Women Business Owners as a Woman Business Owner of Distinction. Estes Public Relations was a nominee for a 2008 Republic Bank We CARE Award. Jamie has received the "40 Under 40 Award" presented by Business First newspaper and has won numerous national awards for her professional work from the Public Relation(s) Society of America; Kentucky Tourism Council; International Association of Business Communicators; Junior League of Louisville; Ohio Travel Association; and the Hospitality, Sales and Marketing Association International.
